This challenge is killing my nails! After I removed the green nails earlier today, my nails were so yellow! Tomorrow, I'll definitely try to get rid of those yellow stains before I do the next prompt. Anyone else having this problem?
So today is blue nails and I'm absolutely in love with these nails. If my wrists weren't so bad right now, I would do my left hand as well. This design looks so pretty and I think out of the five days, these are one of the best designs that I've done so far. I did a stained glass design for today. I love how they came out!
Colors Used:
Wet n Wild's French White Creme
Sinful Colors Endless Blue
Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing
Sinful Colors Why Not
Sinful Colors Black on Black
I first painted one coat of Wet n Wild's French White Creme for the base color. Then, I made random shapes with Sinful Colors Black on Black with a detail brush. Next, with the same brush, I filled in the different blue polishes into the shapes. If you want to paint in all the shapes you can, but leaving some of the white gives it more of a stained glass look. Finally, I finished my design with a top coat.
I wish I didn't have to take this off! I will most certainly be doing these again another time. Tomorrow is purple nails. I have an idea of what I'll be doing, but with me it could always change haha.

ReplyDeleteMy nails are actually stained kinda green... combo of yellow staining from green polish and blue staining from blue polish. The last 4 days (not today, but previous) I used Elmer's Glue for my base coat since I know removing the polish every day with acetone would be a death sentence for my poor nails. Elmer's Glue makes the polish peel right off nice and clean, but it does nothing to prevent staining. :C
ReplyDeleteI've never used Elmer's glue before. Does it work? I think I'll have to use some peroxide and baking soda to clean them tomorrow. It was pretty bad, the green just made it even worse lol.
