BPS Galaxy Nail Wraps

Hello everyone! This is my first post of the New Year!

Today, I have a review of these galaxy nail wraps that were sent to me by the Born Pretty Store.

This is my first time ever trying out nail wraps, but I think I did okay for my first try. There were a few minor setbacks on my part, which I'll get to in a few. I need more practice using them, but it wasn't bad using them for the first time.

The nail wraps come in a sheet with 14 nail wraps on them. I like this because you can use the extras left over to use as an accent nail or use them if you messed up on a certain nail.

They're also really sparkly, which was a nice added touch to these wraps. I also didn't realize this, but they actually glow in the dark. I wish I captured this, but I unfortunately didn't.

The instructions for these wraps were pretty simple. I didn't have a hard time following them at all. All you have to do is select the size that fits best on your nails, file the excess, and then finish with a top coat.

The one thing that I wished it said on the instructions was to take the plastic film off of the wraps before applying. I found this out the hard way when I already had them on and I had to pick the plastic off when they were on my nails. Make sure and do that before you do anything else.

The wraps were very easy to apply. They were also pretty transparent. You can see my nail through the wraps, which I'm on the fence about. I wish they were a little more opaque like the design on my accent nail.

The only problem that I really had with the wraps was the sizing since my nails are on the small side. These were a bit wide on my nails, so I had to test each wrap to see where they would fit best. The sides were lifting off a bit from the width on my nails. I had to take them off the next day because it was bothering me so much.

The backing on the wraps were pretty sticky and stuck on while I was filing the excess off. I had a bit of trouble with the filing as you can see with the accent nail (oops!), but it's nothing too major for me.

The main problem on my part was the top coat. I saw that the wraps were coming up a bit on my nails, so I added another layer of top coat. Bad move on my part. After the second coat, they started to come up even more. I would suggest applying only one layer of top coat for the wraps. Removing the plastic afterwards also helped with this problem.

I wished the wraps had lasted longer on my nails, but I would use them again. I think they're more suited for accent nails and special occasions. Despite my first time using nail wraps, I liked these nail wraps and would definitely get them in the future.

You can get these galaxy nail wraps for $2.39 and other nail art supplies at the Born Pretty Store. I would definitely recommend these wraps, especially for special occasions and accent nails. You can also use the coupon code SHBQ10 for an extra 10% off your entire purchase. Do you like these galaxy nail wraps?

Thanks for reading!
